Prairie Ridge Addiction Treatment Services (PRATS) is dedicated to reducing the burden of addiction-related problems in our communities.  We provide various services to individuals, families, and community members of North Central Iowa.  We serve the following counties: 

OWI/DUI Evaluation and Classes  are offered at Prairie Ridge.  Iowa law requires that an individual who is arrested/convicted for drunk driving (OWI or DUI) must complete a 12-hour OWI/DUI class before applying for reinstatement of driver's license.  There is a $115 pre-registration/pre-payment requirement to attend the OWI/DUI class.  OWI evaluation will cost $100.

McCartney Center provides a two-day course designed to meet the state prevention program requirements as a result of an OWI arrest.  It is located in Charles City at the Sleep Inn Motel.  Participation must first be ordered by a Judge as a substitution for the required jail sentence.  This program is very popular with participants and is described as a "great experience taught by qualified and caring instructors."  To find out more about the McCartney Center click on this link http://www.owischool.com/ .
